Description

If you suffer from dandruff you will appreciate how difficult it is to control and how uncomfortable your scalp can feel. It’s easy to resort to frequent washing that can just end up making things worse and strip your hair of it’s natural oils in the process. This teamed with harsh shampoos can irritate the scalp and leave you in a vicious cycle rather than helping the cause of dandruff.

Stress and an unbalanced diet are also causes that can result in an alteration of hydrolipid skin of the scalp and the growth of micro-organisms that manifest with itching and excessive flaking skin: dandruff.

There are 2 types of dandruff. Dry dandruff: Mainly caused by stress and dehydration of the scalp and Oily dandruff, characterised by scales that remain on the scalp retained by the sebum. Both can be itchy and the scalp can become inflamed.

All products in the Dandruff Defence line are formulated with active ingredients that act effectively on both dry and oily dandruff, on the scalp and hair.

Our laboratories have formulated a line of products that, thanks to gentle active ingredients:

Purify the scalp
Relieve irritations
Restore the correct hydrolipidic balance
Leave your hair soft and light

HOW TO USE:

STEP 1: On dry skin, divide the hair into 2cm sections and distribute Dandruff Remover over the scalp with a gentle massage for 2 minutes. Leave on 5 minutes and then rinse the hair with warm water;

STEP 2: Use Defence Shampoo with the appropriate dispenser Synergicare, gently massage, leave on 2-3 minutes and rinse thoroughly. If necessary, repeat the application; Dab hair and skin to remove excess water.

Dandruff Remover

Mild anti-dandruff peeling emulsion. This unique pre-shampoo treatment formulated with Mandelic Acid deeply cleanses, gently exfoliates and decongests the scalp. Hamamelis Extract helps restore the scalp’s pH balance and soothes redness.

Defence Shampoo

Purifying shampoo to fight and prevent dandruff. The formula with Norwegian Spruce extract and Physio-Seboregulator exfoliates the scalp, soothes redness and alleviates itching. Available in Salon or retail sizes

MANDELIC ACID DANDRUFF DEFENCE MANDELIC ACID: The mandelic acid is an alpha-hydroxy acid naturally occurs in bitter almonds. It is an excellent exfoliant and is suitable for any type of skin,even the most sensitive. Exfoliating is gentle and non abrasive. [clear-line]

HAMAMELIS EXTRACT DANDRUFF DEFENSE HAMAMELIS EXTRACT: Hamamelis extract is obtained from the leaves of Hamamelis Virginiana, Known for its emollient, astringent and decongestant properties.[clear-line]

CLIMBAZOLO dandruff defense CLIMBAZOLO E PIROCTONE OLAMINA: The Climbazole is particularly active against the fungus Malassezia, one of the main causes for the appearance of dandruff. The Piroctone Olamine operates anti-dandruff action by regulating the sebum that exacerbates Malassezia furfur, and helping to restore the natural microbial balance of the skin.[clear-line]

NORWAY SPRUCE DANDRUFF DEFENCE NORWEGIAN SPRUCE: The Norway spruce (Picea Abies) is an evergreen tree typical of Norway and particularly widespread in colder areas. The extract of Picea Abies is obtained from the bark and is rich in lignans, natural substances that act as antioxidants. It’s an excellent soothing ingredient and helps fight dandruff.[clear-line]

PHYSIO-SEBOREGULATOR DANDRUFF DEFENSE PHYSIO-SEBOREGULATOR: Pyrrolidone carboxylic acid salt which purifies the scalp of excess sebum, gently removing the scales of oily dandruff, and restoring proper hydration of the skin to prevent the formation of dandruff.
